Geotagger is a droplet for inserting GPS coordinates into your photos. Simply position Google Earth (version 4 only) over the location you wish to insert into your images, then drag your images (jpegs only) onto the Geotagger icon.

iPhotoToGoogleEarth is a plugin for iPhoto 6 that will export photos for viewing in Google Earth. To make the most of iPhotoToGoogleEarth you’ll need to have GPS infomation stored in the Exif tags.

Exiv2 is a C++ library and a command line utility to access image metadata. Exiv2 is available as free software and with a commercial license, and is used in a growing number of projects.
